Kristina Kochegarova (Kristall) speaks to ESC Covers

Kristina Kochegarova (Kristall) represented Ukraine at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her fun and energetic entry, Europe. Kristina has been talking to ESC Covers about what she has been up to since those JESC days.

What have you been doing since Junior Eurovision?

After JESC, I tried myself in different competitions. I sang in The Voice Kids (Ukraine) and was in the team of Svetlana Loboda (2009 ESC Ukraine). I would like to continue writing more articles about songs and some events for that after my internal exams. I realized songs ‘The Wings Of A Dove’ and ‘Do What You Wanna’. The movies were also made for those tracks.

After 2011 I left the Paradise PR Centre and tried myself in different kinds of music styles. Unfortunately, in the autumn, I had problems with my voice and I needed a long period to recover in hospitals. Now, I can sing and have a lot of ideas to create something new. I hope, my dreams will come true:)

Here are some clips of me performing ‘Do What You Wanna’ (live performance) and a performance at the Caribbean Club for HRC Paradise.

Thank you Kristina. We look forward to hearing new music from you soon. Best wishes from ESC Covers and our readers.

You can see Kristina (Kristall) with her performance mentioned above below as well as her 2011 Junior Eurovision video for Europe.

Dalita performed at a special charity concert in Armenia. She sang Buratino (from Pinocchio) in the Donate Life charity show which is highly sponsored by The First Lady of Armenia, Mrs. Rita Sarqsyan. The concert included songs from cartoon shows translated in to the Armenian language and performed by various acts.

The arrangements and mix for the recordings are by Karen Margaryan. The songs were translated in to Armenian by Avet Barseghyan. There will be a CD release soon with all profits and from the concert going to children fighting against cancer and leukemia. A worthwhile cause indeed.

Georgia: Watch Gvantsa Saneblidze perform ‘Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?’

Gvantsa Saneblidze
Gvantsa Saneblidze

Gvantsa Saneblidze was a member of the popular group Candy, who won the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest for Georgia, with Candy Music. They also had a follow up hit entitled Summer Day. The girl group were all part of the Bzikebi Studio success that has heralded three Junior Eurovision wins so far mastered by Giga Kukhiadnidze.

The members of Candy are still combining their studies with singing. Gvantsa likes to perform jazz and classic and retro style songs with her clear and soulful vocals. Take a look below at her performing Brother, Can You Spare A Dime? that has been recorded by many artists such as Bing Crosby and Rudy Vallee.

I am sure we will see a lot more of Gvantsa in the future and, who knows, maybe on the Eurovision stage again too.
