Michael Rice impressed the judges on the new season of American Idol with his emotional interpretation of Because Of You by Kelly Clarkson.

Michael earned praise and hugs from the judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan. He dedicated the song and performance of Because Of You to his father, who had sadly passed away.

Michael Rice represented the United Kingdom at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with Bigger Than Us.
