In 2017 SALVADOR SOBRAL represented PORTUGAL at the Eurovision song contest with AMAR PELOS DOIS. The song won the contest that year.

DANIEL ZIZKA, who represented CZECHIA at the 2026 Eurovision song contest with CROSSROADS, covered AMAR PELOS DOIS also in Portuguese. It is part of the EBU series A LITTLE BIT MORE.
