ZERO POINTS AT THE 2026 EUROVISION SONG CONTEST

Almost every recent Eurovision song contest, one or two countries get ZERO points, either via the jury voting or the public voting.

Eurovision 2026 resulted in no country getting ZERO points in the jury vote, however AUSTRIA and THE UNITED KINGDOM got just 1 point each.

In the public voting, no less than three countries got ZERO POINTS.

United Kingdom: The UK’s act, Look Mum No Computer (Sam Battle) with the song “Eins, Zwei, Drei,” managed to escape an entirely zero-point finish by picking up a single point from the jury vote. However, zero points from the public ballot landed the UK in last place overall (25th place). This marked the fourth consecutive year the UK received zero points in the public vote.

Germany: The German entry FIRE by SARAH ENGELS has also been hovering at the bottom of the rankings several times. They got some jury points but had to accept ZERO points from the public voting.

Belgium:  The  Belgium entry, DANCING ON THE ICE by ESSYLA,  got a fair amount of jury points, even a 12 points from Italy. Personally ESC Covers felt the song should not even have qualified for the final. For us it was no surprise that this got ZERO points through the public vote.
