Ana Kodra charmed everybody at the press conference for Albania at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
She was happy and smiling and when asked about her ambitions she said she would like to be police investigator but of course to remain singing is her ambition for the future.
Ana was happy to receive chocolates and said she loved them.
An exciting new release from Albania is Atij/Asaj (Him/Her) by Olta Boka ft. Stiv Boka. It is the first release together for sister and brother.
The music for Atij/Asaj is by Irkenc Hyka with lyrics by Petro Xhori. The mixing and mastering is by Jojo. The video is courtesty of Foxes. The film director is Edlira Baholli.
Olta represented Albania at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with Zemrën e lamë peng.
Ana Kodra is the cute and talented singer who will represent Albania at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her song Mos Ma Prekni Pemen – Don’t Touch My Tree. She has released the official video clip for the song.
22 acts will participate in the 56th edition of Festivali i Këngës where the 2018 Eurovision competitor for Albania will be selected. Two semi-finals will take place on 21 and 22 December and the grand final will be on 23 December.
Here are the lucky acts taking part including the charming and talented Lorela for the first time, who has participated The Voice of Albania and other festivals, and even gave an outstanding cover in 2015 of the winning song by Ukraine, 1944. Also, taking part is Orgesa Zaimi, who has had success in many festivals in Albania and beyond, and was also on the Eurovision stage with Kejsi Tola for Albania in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.

Mishela Rapo has released a brand new track entitled E doja, s’e doja (I love, I do not want). The song features in the 2017 Kënga Magjike festival in Albania. It has a beautiful rhythm and a strong production and is very radio friendly.
E doja, s’e doja has the music composed by Kledi Bahiti with lyrics by Fifi.
Mishela represented Albania at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Dambaje and finished in fifth place.

Ana Kodra has won the Junior Fest national selection with her song Mos ma prekni pemën (Do not touch the tree) and will therefore represent Albania at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Georgia in November. The song is composed by Kristi Popa and Jorgo Papingji.

It was a strong final with many good songs – the ones that ESC Covers enjoyed were by Vivjan Kokeri, Argisa Sako and Ajla Buzi but credit should be given to all the competitors.
The interval included a short medley of all the previous three Albania JESC songs – Igzidora Gjeta, Mishela Rapo and Klesta Qehaja.
The winner was decided by an expert jury. You can see Ana’s winning song below.
Dosila Shehu is a promising singer and songwriter from Albania. She is currently in Italy and participated in the 2017 Borgo d’Autore festival in the region of Venosa.

Michelle Marx is a vibrant, 23 year old South African University student with a passion for the performing and visual arts. She has an eclectic taste in music and enjoy writing poetry and songs. The stage is where she loves to be and she grasps any opportunity she gets to sing on stage.
Events where she has performed include: school plays and talent competitions, youth theater productions, local music festivals, arts festivals and vocal competitions, private and charity events, National ATKV University serenade competitions and talent showcases.
She was singing along to a song on the radio when she was 12 years old and realized that she could sing… since then she hasn’t stopped! It is truly her passion and an inherent part of who she is.
She will be covering the 2017 Eurovision song from Albania WORLD/BOTE in Afrikaans.
