A special birthday celebration was held recently in honour of the Gold TV president, Gianfranco Sciscione in Italy. Some Maltese singers were especially selected to perform at the Italia in Musica Festival.

The gala was presented by Paola Delli Colli in Rome with many guests of honour including I cugini di Campagna, comedian and cabaret artist, Martufello.

Three Maltese singers were selected by manager, Dr. Marilanda Majello, to perform. There was a duet by Phyllisienne Brincat and Christian Formosa and Matthew Hammett performed two covers, with all earning great applause and compliments.
