Wales: SIORT ORA (with Manw) wins Battle of the Bands schools competition

After representing Wales at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Manw has taken on a new project with a group of school friends. Their band SIORT ORA (meaning best sort or great mate) won a Battle of the Bands competition singing in the Welsh language for the island of Anglesey schools.

Manw said she is really enjoying being in a band and harmonising with her band mate, Louise. SIORT ORA only got together about two weeks ago. They have won a nice shield trophy and a cash prize of £500 sterling. They also have the opportunity to record at a local studio in Wales. The band will also play at two

SIORT ORA now plan to record some songs (both original and covers) in Welsh.

Manw sang Perta for Wales in Minsk back in November 2018 and won a lot of respect for her performance and appearance with her dancers from Dawnswyr Anti Karen.
