TAKING KEiiNO ON A VIRTUAL TRIP ACROSS EUROPE AND BEYOND – DAY 15 (the last day of the trip) – CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

KEiiNO (members Alexandra Rotan, Tom Hugo and Fred Buljo) was selected directly for the final of the 2021 Norwegian Eurovision selection.

Their song is called MONUMENT. KEiiNO is very much a fan based group and during their 2019 campaign traveled across Europe to perform their 2019 Eurovision entry Spirit in the sky to their fans in various countries.

Due to the Corona pandemic, such a tour is not possible this year and so ESC Covers has decided to take them on a virtual tour for the next 2 or so weeks across Europe and even beyond.

Today is the last day of their 15 day virtual tour across Europe and beyond. They are ending their trip in SOUTH AFRICA, because since the South African website ESC Covers arranged the trip, it is just natural that they will end it here. They are still unknown here but hopefully they will make new friends and fans,

South Africa is a vast country and really diverse and with no less than three capitols, we did not know where they should go. In the end a survey among a few Norwegian fans who have been to South Africa, they all agreed it has to be CAPE TOWN and see TABLE MOUNTAIN.

Table Mountain is home to 1 460 different species of fynbos. This fact was noted in 2000 when the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) awarded Table Mountain Heritage Status for being a natural site that is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom.

The ESC Covers team of Roy van der Merwe, Ian Fowell and Barry Tsai are arranging this virtual tour and a big thank you to especially Barry who created the photo’s.
