Originally planned to do this series over a month or two, but it takes a lot of time. INFE Australia, INFE Ireland and INFE South Africa teamed up to pick their favourite Eurovision entry involving a MALE SINGER from each country that have participated in the Eurovision song contest.

Ida Andia today looks at the song from Georgia and their chances to advance to the final in Tel Aviv.
I have to be honest. When I listened to this song for the first time, I thought it is the weakest entry of this year. I have been patient to listen to it again and to look for the lyrics. The inhabitants of this Caucasian country can be proud of this song. It’s in Georgian. The lyrics are extremely beautiful. ”Varada varada” is a common Georgian folklore refrain; ”chonguri” – a Georgian instrument. So from hate I came to love for ”Sul Tsin Iare” (”Go Ahead”), performed by Oto Nemsadze. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will qualify. The main reason is that the majority of people who will watch the semi-final will not understand the message.
Oto Nemsadze has won the Georgian Idol series and he will represent Georgia at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with his song Sul tsin iare (Go ahead).
Sul tsin iare is composed by Roman Giorgadze.
Three songs (all in the Georgian language) were chosen for the finalists. Sul tsin iare was performed by two acts –
Giorgi Nakashidze – Sul tsin iare (Go ahead)
Liza Kalandadze – Sevdisferi zgva (Sad sea)
Oto Nemsadze – Sul tsin iare (Go ahead)
Giorgi Pruidze – Me mjera (I believe)
Oto was accompanied on stage by five powerful male backing vocalists including Misho Javakhishvili, who was a member of Ethno-Jazz Band Iriao (2018 ESC Georgia).
