Hi 5 covered the 2006 Eurovision entry from Malta I DO in Afrikaans as VERGEWE MY WEER.  

EUROVISION COVER – THROUGH MY WINDOW (Afrikaans)

Hi 5 covered the 2006 Eurovision entry from Estonia THROUGH MY WINDOW in Afrikaans as DAAI LIEDJIE.  

EUROVISION COVER – INVINCIBLE (Afrikaans)

Boy band HI 5 was actually the first to record a cover of INVINCIBLE the 2006 Eurovision entry from Sweden as ‘N EWIGHEID.  

EUROVISION COVER – IT HURTS (Afrikaans)

It hurts, the 2004 Eurovision entry from Sweden was covered in Afrikaans by Hi 5 as WEER SE DIT WEER.  

EUROVISION COVER – MY NUMBER ONE (Afrikaans)

South African boy band HI 5 covered the 2005 Eurovision winner from Greece MY NUMBER ONE in Afrikaans.  

EUROVISION COVER – WHAT IF WE (Afrikaans)

Chiara sang for Malta a 3rd time in 2009 at the Eurovision song contest with WHAT IF WE. Lee Scott (who was with the boy band Hi 5 that covered no less than 6 Eurovision songs) did this solo as VANDAG.  

TOP 50 MILLENNIUM SONGS (position 41)

In position 41 is the entry from Estonia 2006 together with an Afrikaans cover of the song.  

TOP 50 MILLENNIUM SONGS (position 42)

Great song from Denmark in position 42 – TWIST OF LOVE. There is an even better Afrikaans cover by HI 5 – but unfortunately it is nowhere to be found on Youtube. We have just added it thanks to Mike Howell who uploaded it on Youtube.

TOP 50 MILLENNIUM SONGS (position 44)

In position 44 is I DO by Fabrizio Faniello of Malta – their 2006 entry. There is also a great Afrikaans cover by boy band HI 5 called VERGEWE MY WEER, plus another great cover by TOBI JOOSTE – he calls his cover also I DO.
