Lily Duncan recently made it all the way to the grand final of the 2018 Chwilio am Seren national selection for Wales for the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. On Friday 16 November Lily will have the great honour of singing the National Anthem at a special rugby match in respect of the Jonah Lomu Legacy.

The Welsh rugby union football club, Aberavon, is making a come back for the special game. Jonah Lomu was a New Zealand All Black rugby great who sadly passed away in 2015. Jonah went to the Aberavon Naval club (who no longer exist) to host a training session later played a game that raised a lot of money for charity. Now the players want to raise money for funds for the Jonah Lomu Legacy.

There will be lots of entertainment for the public besides the rugby with singing and dancing and a firework display. It will take place from 6:15pm (UK time) at Harlequin Road, Port Talbot SA12 6uP, Wales.

We are sure Lily will do a wonderful interpretation of the National Anthem.

Lily is a rising star with a strong and powerful voice and she impressed many with her journey on Chwilio am Seren. Her version of the 2014 Eurovision winning song, Rise Like A Phoenix, in the Welsh language was a particular highlight.

You can see her version of the Wales 2018 Junior Eurovision song Berta and also Rise Like A Phoenix below. Manw will represent Wales with Berta later this month in Minsk, Belarus.
