Major changes for Junior Eurovision format announced.

In a statement released earlier today the format of this years competition has been announced.

Contest Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl announced  “Travel restrictions and the ongoing issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic mean regrettably we cannot bring all the artists to Poland to compete in person at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year,”

As a result, and in order to ensure that the contest goes ahead, for the first time, all participants will broadcast their songs from their home countries.

The Live show will be broadcast from the TVP studio’s in Poland with performances from the various participating countries being streamed in.

To ensure fairness each country has agreed  ‘a similar stage layout and technical set up to capture the performance of their artist(s).’
