Australia enters Junior Eurovision 2015…and makes it 17 countries taking part

Australia have joined the Eurovision party again. This time the broadcaster SBS has confirmed they will participate in the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Sofia, Bulgaria. This now means 17 countries will participate making it the biggest contest since 2007.

The 17 countries participating are –

  • Albania
  • Armenia
  • Australia
  • Belarus
  • Bulgaria
  • Georgia
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • FYR Macedonia
  • Malta
  • Montenegro
  • Russia
  • San Marino
  • Serbia
  • Slovenia
  • The Netherlands
  • Ukraine

    1. Yes, Ireland & Australia it is very strange to see no nordic countries at all in the 17!
      I don’t understand why

  1. Saw the video for the Australian entrant today. I have to say she is quite the polished singer. If she can deliver that song live that well, then I think that Australia is in with a good chance. Well, I think a good result anyway.
