SERBIA

Huricane – ‘Loco Loco’

Serbia have added another uptempo dance number to the growing  list for 2021 with the release of Hurricane – ‘Loco Loco’

The decision (at least in the official music video) to present the song totally in the Serbian language is a bold move and it will be interesting to see if English is added for the Eurovision performance in May.

No doubt that with decent staging come May, the song will appeal to many who enjoy this genre but In an already crowded field of similar entries, and with Croatia and Cyprus already stealing the march in the  ‘fan favourite’ stakes, this may struggle to find traction and I suspect any similar future releases will need to offer a lot more originality than what’s on offer here to compete with the two current front runners.

  1. The song has great potential for a fantastic staging – could I volunteer to be one of the ice cream cones?
